What's the biggest and best crash pad on the market. Price isn't a concern. Obviously, I have to carry the thing so, lets get some real answers before we start suggesting the sleep number beds (or the sex furniture.)

I want a big, and thick pad. I tried the "flashed one." I'm not sure if I would like that as my only/primary pad, but am open to suggestions.

Thanks!

You'll get a lot of votes for the Organic pads. But my vote goes to the second generation BD Mondo. The first one kinda sucked, way to soft, but the second is just perfect for a big pad. If you aren't looking for a highball pad, organic pads are amazing.

Go with Organic, Dan. Plus, now they are somewhat local, with their main operations in State College, PA.

Definitely Organic Big Pad or Revolution 12-G. Falling onto good foam is safer/nicer. I started bottoming out on my BD pad before I think I should have (s#$tier foam).

Like Gif said, the bonus is they are both small (not publicly traded) companies that aren't trying to stifle/crush/eradicate all competition.

Clark's blog is a pretty funny read: revolutionclimbing.blogspot…

AWESOME thanks guys. Yah. I have a FRANKLIN mondo and it was worth every penny. I finally kinda killed it though....

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
