Ruper
Apr 20, 2025 · Lead / Onsight. Led pitches 2,4, and 6. Wow wow the Ruper crack is super fun. Brought a 5 and 4 and used them both. Pitch 4 is also so amazing. Next time definitely link 4 and 5 together. Pitch 6 was seriously funky and run out on really dubious rock with manky pins as protection. I would’ve enjoyed more but the brand new rope got seriously twisted and mega short roping ensued. Lots of scrambling to start the lower section and even more downscrambling to start the upper section. All in all a big day out.

Pansee Sauvage
Apr 17, 2025 · TR. Finally got this baby clean on TR!! Next step lead…maybe. Seems like the moves are a LOT easier when the wall is cooler and shaded later in the day.

Pansee Sauvage
Apr 15, 2025 · TR. Beta for next time. After first bolt: high step with left foot. Push up with left foot and grab jug with left hand, balancing with right hand. After second bold: DONT use the chip out left. Use smaller foot holds closer in and gun for the big jug. 3rd bolt: find slopey dish for right foot. Move left foot to the higher of the 2 right facing diagonal edges. Left hand crimp. Right foot to another shitty dish. Get right hand to sloper rail and left to undercling. Boom

Kor's Flake
Apr 13, 2025 · Lead / Onsight. Led P1,3, and 5. Crazy scary offwidth and fun crack climbing. Pitch one we got off route, which was my fault. Then P2 we went up the wrong R facing corner and had to make a sharp traverse back to the start of the flake, big rope drag. The offwidth pitch felt really hard for 5.7+ because there’s no way to protect it without burying your body in the crack, which feels super burly. I had to take my helmet off because it kept getting wedged and stuck. Pitch 4 was excellent, and it sprinkled snow on us while the wind raged. The descent was heinous and we got at least 15 ticks as passengers. Fully alpine lite experience

Over the Hill
Apr 10, 2025 · Lead. had to take once at the upper crux after clipping the final pin. Simply an amazing route. It feels rare that such diverse climbing should exist in a singular route. The first pitch revolves around technical stemming moves and smearing on smooth rock. I found palm smearing to be essential. The second pitch is a near vertical fingercrack with loads of exposure and some really thin pro! There are several diagonal bands of rock that can be challenging to climb through. Overall an absolute must do for the grade.
