Lunatic Fringe
Jan 20, 2025 · TR. TRS'd again, felt strong but fell at the chalked up flake / lb to a horn 2/3rds up (not a lb: do a left pinky jam and put rf in good pod to go up to the horn). Ran out of juice for the final crux but found better beta (rh jam low near the lh black knob, then lh finger lock above and crank to last min-jug blob). Do it in one go next time!

Reed's Pinnacle Regular Route
Jan 20, 2025 · Lead / Onsight. Did a hybrid a the direct and regular. Led p1 of direct (climb on flake, step across left into 5.9 hands and short jammable 5.9 lb). Then Oscar invented a p2 across to the right climbing the flake inside the chimney then mantel on the big flake. Then I led regular p3, 5.8 stemming + 5.8lb (more like hand crack) to the left. We then rapped on the leftmost rings near the base of p4 and top roped p2 of direct: super awesome and varied crack climbing, a bit wide (3-4 fist moves) and endurance at the end. Rap'd to the ground with a single 60 fixed then pulled the second rope for the second to rap down on two.

Lunatic Fringe
Jan 20, 2025 · TR. TRS on a fixed line that was already there. Awesome route with very varied crack climbing. Start is easy then twin cracks (climb on left then step far right to black blob for rf, jam rh in crack, crank and rock over rf), then endurance thin hands, then wider, then very nice hands, then crux fingers last move before top out bulge (jam left fingers high, right hand in insecure flaring hand jam, rf in crack and push to black blob for hand up high before traversing left). Need to work out the moves to be fast (or gain endurance). Go do it again on TRS if rope is still there!

Just for Starters
Jan 19, 2025 · TR. Very subtle feet for the crux move after the first bolt. Find tiny edges, mostly smear, high step and stay low on hands. Felt great!

Sloth Wall
Jan 19, 2025 · 1 pitch. Lead / Redpoint. Really fun and great option to bring the girls on! Just on undercling and smearing move of 5.7 (grab the big loaf with the right hand before the corner of the flake), then fun knobs / crack straight up to the right of the bolts up to the two station. Do it again with the girls!

Jan 19, 2025 · TR. Thin crack with tips and often good knobs for the left foot, but then crux is smearing with tips in crack to biggish move. Lock those fingers and trust those feet! Fun to do on TR
