Mar 28, 2025 · Lead. Led pitch 1, Kimble did the rest. First lead on a multi pitch- wooooo!! I was pretty spooked by the top. A few learnings for me- one: the small white tricam is for aid ONLY. I PROTECTED THE CRUX OF PITCH 1 with it. Holy shit. Two: when sizing cams for a crack, get in the habit of only caking them halfway, so that it can’t bite and…. Get massively stuck like I did with the size 3. Really cool route- the second pitch is probably not for me with the slabby ball-nubs for hands and feed.

Mar 26, 2025 · Follow. Danni and I followed Josh up. Really fun first pitch, chimney scoot and interesting climbing. Second pitch started with an entertaining battle over a bulge, but was easy climbing afterwards. We did 2 raps. Tricky rope pulls, lots of features to get the rope stuck, but Josh was a pro.

Mar 26, 2025 · Lead. Really cool lead for me. Felt a bit less straightforward for a 5.5 for me. Had to go back and forth between the smaller left finger crack (good smaller gear) and the much larger right crack (was able to place a 3 and 4 higher up). The larger right crack opens up into quite a chasm at one pt, had to keep my cool and focus on the gear. Belayed Josh and Danni up after that! One 60m rap down. Pulled the rope down over the face, right of the large crack.
