Jan 12, 2025 · Lead / Redpoint. Sent this on the way to doing pi mai again. Using more kneebars after the big handlebar definitely helped.

Jan 12, 2025 · Lead / Flash. Way more adventurey than it looks. Fun! Don’t forget to kneebar at the top.

Pi Mai
Jan 12, 2025 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Second go, was able to do more kneebars which made it feel much more doable. In the part with the two big rubbered up blobs I couldn’t find a kneebar, but there are two excellent hand holds - go up from there and get a very high R kneebar, clip. Find ok holds to traverse to a small stalactite, get a tricky R kneebar against stalactite, clip - but make sure the rope goes behind the stalactite. Top left of stalactite is good, Gaston left to big blob, get established, and then the rest of the route is easy juggy vert climbing to the anchor.

Jan 12, 2025 · Lead / Fell/Hung. First go on this amazing climb. Felt waaay hard, but I think I’m not yet a kneebar maximalist!

Jungle King
Jan 12, 2025 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Sent Jungle baby, then bolt-to-bolted Jungle king. Still need to improve the section off the anchor. Knowing where the good holds are is key. Was able to find several sneaky kneebars (one was more of a R knee-scum-bar in a ledgy hole. Also fell out while doing upside down double kneebar! In the hole below the crux hole, there is a good undercling inside the top of the hole. Crux starts at highest hole - L hand reach in back of hole for sharp jug, R up right to pocket, L hip in L hand high to jug-ish thing at top of blank bit, R knee in hole, tuck R foot into dish, cross R up high to good juggy pinch above L hand, release kneebar, R foot higher into dish on R, L high up to jug. Soon you’ll find all your feet are glassy slopers; look left for a sharp, rubbered up hole that you can toe into and pull into the mess in front of you. To the chains is delicate and slick, but have the patience to find the good holds and it’s doable.
