Protection beta should reflect that #3 and even #4 C4's, while not necessary, are useful. The #4 in the lower crack on P1 as a quick, solid piece to conserve your other cams. The #3's can be placed in a variety of spots on P1 and P2 - especially the crux on P1. In my mind, the right rack for a climber at his or her limit is a double set of C4's from .5-3, a good selection of wires, a #4 C4 (and maybe some smaller cams/wires for the P1 anchor).
