Feb 17, 2025 · Lead / Flash. Still think this is one of my favorite multi pitches in the area. So good. I led the first pitch and placed a lot of gear, over 15 pieces. I actually ran out of alpine draws. There’s one more bolt right before you reach the anchors on the first pitch that I would have wanted an alpine draw for, the last move is insecure feeling. The second pitch is phenomenal. Steep juggy climbing with a few spicy moves. Jamie Day led this pitch. Jamie has an unhealthy obsession with tricams and so he placed quite a few tricams on this pitch as well as on the last pitch, although I tried to convince him that they were completely unnecessary and dead weight. He seemed quite pleased with how many tricam placements he found. The traverse pitch wasn’t bad at all, I was able to place a black totem, a yellow totem and a red totem and protect it quite well. Jamie led the last pitch and did great. Great route!

Apr 12, 2024 · Lead / Onsight. Fun climb with Bri! Climbed to let dark shadows clear out. Got lost on traverse pitch 3 (keep trending due-right and build gear anchor with one bolt). Every rappel eats ropes especially the first rap of pitch 4! Nasty rope eater on a windy day! Pitch 4 was awesome!

Apr 12, 2024 · Follow. First two pitches are straightforward and, apart from the roof pull on pitch one, felt 5.8. I thought the pitch three traverse pitch was sketchy, loose, and no fun. Mental crux of the climb and not that great. Fourth pitch was my favorite. Sweet movement that was different than face climbing and made you think without being sketchy.

Definitely tape your right index finger for this one. It's the FEET that are the hardest. I couldn't get them anywhere that could help me. Second pitch was super fun! Onsighted that.

Apr 2, 2023 · Lead / Onsight. One 10- move and a lot of it felt like sport climbing. The real crux was getting down. We free-ed stuck rope for the 2nd rappel and we also got it stuck on the same rappel. I had to climb up to free it and downclimbed it.

Feb 12, 2023 · Lead / Onsight. 1st all bolts, 2nd all bolts and one .5 cam, 3rd I slung one chicken head before corner and one bolt on varnish around corner. My 2nd followed 3rd pitch, her head lamp switched to red as she was on the slabby traverse, varnished slab in the dark her battery was dying. One bolt for anchor of 3rd pitch 10 feet lower than where it should be for an mostly hanging belay. 4th pitch was awesome and fi a bit more exposed would be a 4* climb. Lots of choss and broken rock on top of 4th pitch. Thought there was a walkoff but we needed to rap. Bivy for the night and waited till 6:30a.m to call rescue to bring extra rope.

Pitch 1,2 and 4 are 4star climbs. The last finger crack corner is somewhat tricky to protect in the last 20ft but is soft at 5.9. Can’t recommend this climb more. Definitely bring a puffy if climbing Oct-March
