Description
Solidarity is an accessible slab climb that tops out at the base of Community Wall, providing an alternative route to the steep approach scramble.
P1- 5.10+ (or 5.9 A0), 9 bolts, 90'
Scramble onto a mossy ledge, and start to the right of the small tree. After a thin crux off the ground, mantle onto a bulge and traverse left on good feet to better holds. Two more thin sections appear later, in the middle of the pitch and just before the anchor.
P2- 5.8, 9 bolts, 100'
Step left off the unique belay ledge, climb a short 5.8 section, then cruise up the interesting featured slab.
P3- 5.5, 2 bolts, 100'
Two bolts adequately protect about 40' of low 5th class, then clean 4th and eventually 3rd class scrambling leads to an anchor at the back of a large ledge.
The route is equipped for 3 rappels with a single 60m rope, although a walk off toward the Dihedral Buttress is possible as well.
Location
Park 1000' after the Partridge Creek bridge at a pullout with several trees. The route can be identified from the road as the clean streak on the left side of the large mossy slab, far below the Cookie Jar. Hike up the slope and angle right, toward the two large boulders flanking the route (<0.2mi).
A steeper and more direct approach starts as for Fantasy's Kingdom, staying left before the gully to skirt the base of the wall.
