Choose your groove, gulley, ramp and scramble up to arch (may be able to see this from the approach). Some are a bit more loose and vertical than others. The gulley facing Courthouse Rock is the most solid and fun. From the arch locate large stack of rocks marking the crux of the climb. A short 5.5 section with decent gear places you on a nice ledge with many loose blocks. Scramble to summit. A single bolt just below the summit allows for a quick and safe descent back to the stacked rocks and arch. Carefully down-climb back to ground.
Enjoyable hiking across the desert floor, due south from Courthouse Rock. From a distance the formation blends into larger cliffs in background but becomes easily discernible on the hike.
