The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
Start 40 feet around right and up on top of boulders from Jesse Owens. This route ascends a very obvious left-leaning crack in the center of the main, black buttress.
Climb the obvious left-leaning crack to a ledge or just before the ledge, move left to the communal anchor used for the two climbs to the left.
