Description Suggest change

Mass Hysteria is an obvious arete problem with a perfect landing in a calm, fern choked gully. Start sitting on the low slot jug, and work up the arete until you execute a hard sloper slap that can be heard from the Mesa Trail. A couple more thrutchy moves gain the lip before an easier rockover. This is a neo-classic and worth the extra hike if you're in the area.

GPS coordinates are: 39.959692237858114, -105.28726907506847.

This is found in a newer separated sector of the Terrain zone, about 1/4 mile of steep hiking further. It might make sense to collect these in a "Shanahan" or "Terrain South" area. Follow the normal approach to the main Terrain Blocs, Flower Power etc. There is a log marked trail in the clearing just East of the smaller warm-up boulders. This is the cutoff to head to the Shanahan Crag, the approach beta on here has a map to follow. This good trail will climb a hill to level off and pass the cool hueco'd Public Shaming Wall on the right before dipping down to the gully. The trail will continue straight through some ferns to the now visible boulder, going right along the wall leads to the sport crag.

Expect 10 minutes from the Main Terrain and ~1 hour from the car.
