Description
Digital Fortitude tackles the attractive fin just to the left of Totoro Tower. The first pitch (5.11, 19 bolts) starts in a left-facing corner until you can traverse left to a crack system after a few bolts. Climb the crack and face to a bouldery crux for ~40m of very sustained climbing. Belay in an alcove conveniently perched on the middle of the face. The next pitch (17 bolts, 5.11) continues straight up past another crux with continued sustained climbing on a rightward traverse and ends near the top of the formation on a ledge system (just a few meters shy of the top, ~35m). The rock and movement on both pitches are excellent. Expect to find very sustained climbing from top to bottom.
Descent: Rappel the route on a 70m rope. The first pitch can be rappelled on a 70m rope by swinging over left into the gully system and scrambling down from there. As always, knot your ropes.
