Description Suggest change

The climb follows an obvious wide crack, between the main wall and a huge separated flake. You can choose to climb this crack with offwidth technique, or to rely more on laybacking and small footholds on the face. Either way it is a fun and aesthetic route.

Location Suggest change

This route is located in the “Two Spires” area.

The route starts at the far right side of the ledge above the first tier of Chockstone Chimney. Climb the first part of CC to gain the ledge. From there, climb the obvious wide crack, between the main wall and a huge separated flake.

Protection Suggest change

The bottom of the route can be protected using a slung chockstone. The next section above that will take a #5 BD cam (purple, 14 cm). The middle section will take a #6 BD cam (green, 18 cm), and you could place a #7 BD cam (if you have one) in the upper part. There is also a horizontal crack about 2/3 of the way up that will take small to medium cams. There is a bolted anchor.
