Description Suggest change

This is a link-up that only has a couple of moves of unique climbing, but it provides an easier approach into the top of Ribald Limerick and makes for the easiest way to top out this section of cliff. This can be climbed in two short pitches or one long pitch.

Pitch 1: Climb the Mouth of Truth to the mid anchor. 60', 5.9, gear.

Pitch 2: From the anchor, step right manteling onto a series of ledges - joining you with the upper part of Ribald Limerick. Stand up and clip the lone bolt. A fun sequence leads past the bolt (crux) to some more gear protected climbing above. Top out to a great stance. 40', 5.10, gear + 1 bolt.

Start as for the Mouth of Truth.

Cams from micro to BD#3, extra finger size pieces. Nuts, including RPs or similar - I like to place the largest DMM brass offset but you could use microcams instead. If you’re trying to link pitches, bring extra small stuff and extra runners. There's an optional 4” cam placement at the top of P2, but you can get smaller gear nearby to avoid hauling up the #4.
