Description Suggest change

A pick-your-own-size chimney solo at the western end of the Learning Cave. The further you go in, the narrower it gets. It widens as you go up, and is slightly over 3ft wide at the earliest option for a top out (need to make one easy stemming/face move to top out).

A nice climb to practice standard chimney climbing, and a nice way to get back up to your pack after climbing/cleaning/belaying the Learning Cave Chimney.

If you walk around to the other side, you can also start from outside the learning cave. This start makes it a bit more difficult because the first part is an armbar/chickenwing offwidth. The harder moves are just off the deck, so this variation is still a fairly comfortable solo.

Location Suggest change

Inside the Learning Cave, walk to the west until the crack narrows to your preferred chimney width.

Protection Suggest change

Solo. Solid chimney technique will keep you safe.
