The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
This is the Direct Line on the wall. Take the thin crack that splits the formation from its beginning to its end.
The crux for me was pulling the roof. Below felt 10+/11-. After the roof it's 10c until you reach the top. Sustained with technical and physical climbing.
