Description
The start is a thin-hands crack-boulder problem around 5.8. Climb the crack, and explore features on either side of the corner. Go up and left to access a left-leaning ramp and the final slab finish with a thin seam (10a/b). This ramp and slab are the same finish as Blank Page of Profound Memories. The PG-13 rating is for the crack portion of the route, which I estimate is 5.8. We put a bolt on the arete near the top of the crack, so that the leader does not need to place gear. This bolt can be stickclipped if needed. The lack of gear in the lower crack will allow the belayer to move climber's left and see the climber on the upper slab.
The route is named for Nathan Reid, an All American discus thrower for the Wyoming Cowboys, whom I coached. He died in a car accident in 2023 before his senior year. The route is a little complex and thought-provoking, just like Nathan. Rest easy, Cowboy.
Location
The start is to the right of the slab approach to Blank Page of Profound Memories, Home on the Range, and Masters Call the Roll. It begins in a licheny corner.
