The Killing Jar (open project) 5.14+ Suggest change

OPEN PROJECT - start this pitch by climbing the initial slab until you reach the overhang - pull onto the overhang and climb up the face and arete until you reach a series of breaks that trend left. VERY sustained with a lot of knee bar trickery, underclings, technical body positioning, and powerful boulder problems - there is a very hard boulder problem crux where the breaks end and the overhang lessens - it seems that the first half of this route is likely 14b/c - gaining the headwall will be extremely hard but you are rewarded by a no hands rest (knee bar) - the remaining climbing is roughly 5.13a/b and is on a fabulous aspect on great rock.
