Location Suggest change

Approach: Park at Passo Sella. Hike towards the southwest face of the first Sella tower. Continue up to the base of the tower towards the obvious corner (Trenker). The route begins just to the left of Trenker on a low angle ramp. ~20-30 minutes.

Descent: From the summit, traverse right towards the Second Sella Tower. Downclimb to the saddle between the two towers and follow the trail that contours across the southeast face of the second tower. Continue to a junction marked by a large cairn and turn right continuing to descent. You will eventually reach a short cliff with rappel anchors. Make ~20M rappel to reach the base of the tower.

Protection Suggest change

Can be done purely as a sport climb if comfortable at the grade. There are a few sections with longer distances between bolts, so supplementing with a small rack might be beneficial.

~10 quickdraws

0.3-2 camalots.

Bolted belays. Possible to rappel route. You can also descent via the normal route.
