Description Suggest change

A trad variation of Disclosure. See the page for Disclosure for a full description of the route, approach, descent, etc. On this page, only the trad variations will be described.

Pitch 1 (5.9, 8b, 80'): Climb the first pitch of Disclosure on bolts.

Pitch 2 (5.6, 5b, 80'): Climb the alternate pitch 2 of Disclosure and continue past the anchor up the face to the right (bolt) to another ledge with an anchor about 40' higher.

Pitch 3, (5.9, 3b, 85'): Climb straight up the face above the anchor (2 bolts) to a right-angling crack. Follow the crack up about 30' until it peters out with a bolt on the left. Continue up the face above the bolt to anchors on a sloping ledge above.

Move the belay about 30' left to the anchors below the shallow, right-facing, left-angling corner of pitch 4.

Pitch 4 (5.7, 7b, 85'): Climb pitch 4 of Disclosure.

Pitch 5 (4th class, 120'): Walk/scramble to the summit.

Descent: Walk off or rappel as described in the descent options in the Tank Peak, East Face main page.
