Description

“And I asked myself about the present: how wide it was, how deep it was, how much was mine to keep.”

Start off the ground on the line just to the right of Slaughterhouse-Five. Work up easier climbing to a mid-point crux below the roof. Clip the bolt above the roof, and traverse right to the face just left of the wide, grungy crack. Continue up near the anchors of Slaughterhouse-Five, and instead of clipping those, look right for a bolt on the other panel on the headwall. Clip that, step across, and continue up that panel to the anchor just below the roof.

Location

It is just right of the first route you come to after crossing the log, right next to Slaughterhouse-Five.

Protection

10 bolts to loweroffs.

[Hide Comment] A note on the bolting here: the bolts around the roof were placed where there was good rock - not necessarily in the cleanest climbing line. It looks like it wanders a lot, and there will be significant rope drag - trust me that neither is true, and go have fun! Just note that once you clip the first bolt above the roof, your next bolt is fairly hard right. Aug 16, 2023
