JULY 5 UPDATE FROM PARK MANAGEMENT:
ALL SEASONAL CLIMBING CLOSURES FOR CLIMBING AND SLACKLINING WILL BE LIFTED ON FRIDAY, JULY 7TH THIS WEEK.
THANKS, EVERYONE FOR YOUR HELP IN OBSERVING RESTRICTIONS DURING THE NESTING SEASON!
There are many seasonal raptor closures with varying dates and specific boundaries. These generally effect The Monument, Kiss of the Lepers, Picnic Lunch Wall and/or Smith Rock group, and possibly elsewhere. These usually run from February to the beginning of August, but each closure is usually shorter than this, and is dependent on the birds' behavior. Description
Exciting 2 pitch climb that starts in the corner at Spider-Man variation then moves up and left thru a couple roofs and liebacking
Pitch 1 5.9 starting in corner move up then traverse left and up thru first roof up. Follow seam up thru second roof and flake to bolted anchor.
pitch 2 5.5 waltz up easy cracks to the top approx 30 ft pitch. Can link as single pitch if rope drag isn’t too bad
