Description Suggest change

This route taxes both the body an the mind. The moves to the first bolt feel like proper hard slabbing and represent the crux of the route. After the first bolt, the cerebral climbing continues, with insecure moves between generally good clippings stances. In the land of bouldery routes, this stands out as a sustained testpiece.

Location Suggest change

Far left side of Y Crag, on a cliff that is lower than the main part of the wall. Look for the striking prow.

Protection Suggest change

5 bolts to LO. Most will chose to stick clip the first bolt, though the first ascentionist studiously avoided doing so, thereby preserving his "traditional" ethics and taking numerous groundfalls onto the ropebag.
