Description Suggest change

1. Start on the right edge of the southeast face. Gain an obvious vertical crack. Follow this, negotiate a small jog left midway, then keep going up the continuation crack to a 2-bolt anchor at the base of the white caprock (A2, 65').

2. Step left and ascend with mixed aid and free moves to the summit (5.5, A2-, 15')

Location Suggest change

Start on the right edge of the southeast face.

Protection Suggest change

Descent: the summit is soft. We left a Warthog and a Spectre on top. These are equalized but not very good. We gently downclimbed/tensioned back down to the 2-bolt anchor. Rappel 65' from here to the ground.

Gear:
Pitons: a small selection of Tomahawks, 2 Spectres, one standard Angle.
Cams (Totems): 1 Black, 3 Blue, 5 Yellow, 5 Purple, 5 Green, 4 Red, 3 Orange. 1 #3 Camalot
Nuts: small selection, medium to large.
