Warning Access Issue: Seasonal - the spillway gates will open in late winter to early spring and close near the beginning of summer. When the gates are open the boulders are underwater and thus not accessible. DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

Sit start link up into BDE. From under the bulge finagle your way into the start of BDE using a variety of heel/toe hooks, heel toe cams and maybe even a knee bar to rest and gas up for the finish. A no kneebar variation has been attempted and has an open FA for around a grade harder.

Location Suggest change

Start sitting at the base of the bulge below the start of BDE with a left hand on the low hidden triangle undercling and right hand on the right arete wrapped around the lowest horn found roughly at head height while seated.

Protection Suggest change

At minimum 4 pads, spotter highly recommended. Building a landing out of snow to flatten the angled slab under the boulder is highly recommend if the weather allows.
