Description Suggest change

The first half of this route is the hard section and is also completely unprotected, so treat this part as a solo (legend has it many an ankle has been broken due to falls at the crux). The crux is getting to the good crimps 3 metres or so off the ground. Once at the ledge, the difficulty becomes much easier to the top.

Location Suggest change

Coming down the trail downhill from the upper valley, the Pilaster buttress is the obvious first buttress on the left.

Protection Suggest change

No pro until the ledge halfway up, trad protection
