Description Suggest change

Beautiful pillar of ice high above dear creek! Probably some of the best views of the valley from up here. View to a thrill forms regularly, while Dressed to Kill (the right of the two pillars) comes in every few years. One short pitch of WI 3+ gets you up underneath the pillar. The main pitch is about 50M to the top anchor as our 80M rope did not quite get us to the bottom.

Location Suggest change

Start at the dear creek trailhead, and hike up the sandy switch backs until the trail traverse above dear creek. From here there will be another short period of switchbacks, after that you should see the ice above the trail. Leave the trail at the first big bed in the trail after the second switchbacks and work your way up the drainage to the ice.
