Description Suggest change

Conspicuous loose crack, slightly less than vertical with some bulges and a perfectly placed tree for an anchor. It is A) slightly harder and steeper than it looks B) slightly less chossy than it looks and C) much more fun and worthwhile than it looks.

As obvious as this line is, I *think* I snagged the FA due to the massive amount of choss pulled off the route on the ascent. LMK if it has been done ground up before. It may have been overlooked over all these years by both those too good to bother with D4 and those too novice to lead an R route on tools alike.

We found it worthwhile and agreed there is definitely an enjoyable line to be had, especially as the choss gets more cleaned up.

Location Suggest change

South-facing choss heap around the corner south of the fat one. Warm and sunny midday when the weather permits.

Protection Suggest change

Bad. You could try a single rack to 3". Only two of my placements would have done anything. A nice tree with tat and quicklink for an anchor though!
