Description Suggest change

A nice option for a brand new leader. We long and hard debated the grade. In the end we settled on 5.5d. Sadly, Mt. Project does not let you split the lower grades. So if you're a solid 5.5c/d leader, give this route a go! It's a bit longer than Sea Monkey but has a fun "crux" about 1/2 way up.

The first bolt may be a bit high for a new leader. You can lower off Sea Monkey and pre-clip it if you like. It's easy for us "bold, old-skool, hardman, 5.7+" leaders to forget what it was like when we were first learning. This route should help build your confidence and you'll be on your way to 5.10 in no time.

Right of Sea Monkey. Left of Waterdog.

6 draws (I think?). Bring an extra in case you drop one on your belayers head.
