Description Suggest change

It is not the size of the pinnacle but the potential length of the fall that highlights this gem. Depending on where you rope-up, prepare for 12 to 30 feet of exposed, forearm pumping, teeth clenching, 5.3 fun.  Do not be surprised if you find yourself having to wait in line for this majestic monolith.

Location Suggest change

Find your way to the exposed ridge that is characteristic of the Eagletails.  Several hundred feet below the Eagletail Feather routes this "can't miss" spire shines like a lighthouse in a storm.  Allow 3 to 5 hours to reach, about 5.25 miles from Courthouse Rock parking.

Protection Suggest change

#3, #4. Down-climb or risk a simul-rap.
