ALL SEASONAL CLIMBING CLOSURES FOR CLIMBING AND SLACKLINING WILL BE LIFTED ON FRIDAY, JULY 7TH THIS WEEK.
THANKS, EVERYONE FOR YOUR HELP IN OBSERVING RESTRICTIONS DURING THE NESTING SEASON!
There are many seasonal raptor closures with varying dates and specific boundaries. These generally effect The Monument, Kiss of the Lepers, Picnic Lunch Wall and/or Smith Rock group, and possibly elsewhere. These usually run from February to the beginning of August, but each closure is usually shorter than this, and is dependent on the birds' behavior. Check this site for details: smithrock.com/seasonal-clos…
Description
After pulling up onto a step to the right, manage some pocket pulls to a hand ramp leading left to the distinct head and the anchors.
Location
On the trail leading up to the base of the Devil, cut right on towards the top at a switchback that would lead you to the base of the main cliff. A faint trail cuts right through the trees 40 feet to a small formation known as Little Taz.
The pocketed downhill face serves up one route traversing right to left.
Little Taz is clearly visible from the Zoo access road.
