Description Suggest change

This is the most beautiful crack this side of Indian Creek.

Climb perfect, cruiser hands to a thinner section (ringlocks for most) followed by a stance. Finish with a powerful, flared, tight fingers crux. The hardest move comes just before the chains.

Mind the nettles at the base. Soon I hope to build up this base area a little more. A sharp mineral deposit inside the crack might call for crack gloves for some. The anchors were installed in the past few years by Mychal McCormick, but this crack is too good to have not been climbed decades ago. Right?

Location Suggest change

Look for the striking, west-facing lightning bolt crack on the tallest part of the cliff.

Protection Suggest change

Cams (x2-3) 0.2 - 0.75, (x3-4) 1-2, 3. YMMV. I haven't measured this route, but bring a 70m rope to be safe.
