Access Issue: RAIN & WET ROCK
Details
Corpse Wall sandstone is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Holds rip off and climbs have been and will continue to be permanently damaged due to climbers not respecting this phenomenon. After a heavy storm the rock will remain wet, sometimes for several days. PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB during or after rain. A good rule of thumb is that if the ground near your climb is at all damp, then do not climb.
Description
Second pitch from a nice ledge on the right side of the crag. Fun moves on excellent sandstone, would be a popular moderate if it started from the ground.
Location
Second pitch from the ledge directly above Son of Sam when you first get up to the crag. Climb any of the routes at the base of the crag between The Ripper and Intimidation (Intimidation being the best climbing, clipping two bolts along the ledge for the traverse left). Belay from a 2-bolt anchor at the base of the route.
