Seasonal Falcon Closures in effect from March 15 - July 31.

Note that the annual closures of the Park View Dome, The Ranch Hand, Black Creek Wall, and Sawmill Crag have been permanently lifted. These cliffs will continue to be monitored, but will only close if a new nest is spotted.

Description

The Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster is an alcoholic beverage invented by ex-President of the Galaxy Zaphod Beeblebrox, considered by The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy to be the "best drink in existence." Its effects are similar to "having your brains smashed out by a slice of lemon wrapped round a large gold brick." Beeblebrox advised that you should "never drink more than two Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters unless you are a thirty ton mega elephant with bronchial pneumonia."

Another good, 5.10 addition to the Astronomy Wall, The Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster begins on the prow to the left of Io. Some tricky slab moves at bolts 2 and 3 could get some gym climber's brains smashed out by a slice of lemon. Easier climbing leads to the steep boulder problem crux that might give a 30-ton mega elephant bronchial pneumonia. Finish on an easy slab to Mussy hooks. An extension up the steep headwall may be added, stay tuned....
