Warning Access Issue: Railroad DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

The classic route climbs the left-facing corner on the right edge of the tallest and smoothest section of cliff. The line is protected by bolts (10-11 per pitch) and the bolts can be supplemented with finger and hand-sized gear if you want.

Location Suggest change

Start about 150 feet up from the railroad tracks and just downhill (north) of the height of land on the climbers' access trail that runs along the base of the wall. The route climbs the striking left-facing corner on the right edge of the most prominent smooth section of cliff.

P1: Climb the corner past 10-12 bolts to an anchor and hanging belay (5.7+, 30m). It seems that most people rappel from here.

P2: Continue up the corner past more bolts to another anchor (5.7+, 20m).

Rappel the route or walk off to the right (south).

Protection Suggest change

Quickdraws with optional finger and hand-sized gear to supplement the bolts.
