Description Suggest change

Have you ever wanted to climb a 40° overhanging conglomerate boulder with sculpted 2-3 finger pockets?

Well here's your chance:

Beta Video of the stand start (Whisky Dick - V7ish): instagram.com/tv/CZsFulpFJu…

For Drunk and Hard: start matched on an obvious jug/pocket (the starting foothold in the video), about 3 feet off the ground and make a move out right to a 2-finger pebble/edge, continue up on chalked pockets, maneuvering through the crux, a right hand stab to a 3-finger slot, top out slightly right

Full disclosure, this rock is conglomerate, and some footholds may fail catastrophically. All the chalked holds have been well-cleaned and climbed on so they're pretty solid.

Pin to the Boulder - 39.237045, -110.802337

Drive down Buckhorn Wash road, just after passing Buckhorn Reservoir, look for some dirt roads on the left (East) side of the road. Follow the maze of dirt tracks until you get as far east as possible and park at the mouth of a streambed/wash. There is a recognizable boulder at the parking with graffiti and lots of shattered glass.

Hike east up the wash, there are 2 sections where you thread your way through/over large boulders before heading up the north hillside after 10 minutes of hiking. Look for an obvious overhanging boulder, facing away from the wash.

Drunk and Hard is the rightmost line with chalk on it.
