Description

At the top of the Attila the Hun wall, near the rim of the gorge is the namesake route. Super clean left leaning fingers to hands splitter. It is possible start on the Louisiana Liplock (10b), the VERY short finger crack below White Dwarf (12a), and link into Attila crack with some slings. If doing this, the route is probably more like 100 feet.

Location

Scramble up some ledges to the right of Pumpkin to the base. The cracks up there are easy to see from the trail.

Protection

Nuts, singles to .75, 2x 1 Camalot, and a #2.

[Hide Comment] Killer crack! Bring doubles of .4 & .5 Camalot if linking from the Liplock, makes for a sweet pitch of jamming. Jan 9, 2022

[Hide Comment] This is a quality climb! Started on Louisiana Liplock and it was a great way to do it. Rope drag isn’t as bad as you’ll probably expect it to be. Definitely a good idea to bring doubles from .3 to #1 Camalot or equivalent. (Some may even want triples of .5 and .75 if linking the two routes and you’re at your limit.) No need for anything bigger than #1 Camalot. Dec 29, 2023
