Description

Drawn and Quartered is an exhilarating, sustained route with a couple good rests in its first half. The beginning sequence is a tough boulder problem. Stickclip the first bolt if not the first two. This has vertical, crimp-intensive climbing with a few slopers thrown in for good measure.

Location

Start on the ledge on the right side of Cloud Buttress. This starts a bit to the left of the start of "Pillow Talk".

Protection

12 bolts to LOs.

[Hide Comment] The boulder up to the belay ledge of this route is pretty fun. It adds like 15ft to the climb! Nov 17, 2021

[Hide Comment] The route is spectacular. Maybe it is a 5.12b/c, but I give it a 5.12c, because I don't have the flexibility to bring my left foot on the ledge. I had to come out with a different beta, pinch a two-finger packet with my right hand on my right, and then go to a small, high gaston. Sep 17, 2023

[Hide Comment] Was probably mid 12b for me but definitely 12c for shorter climbers. Sep 17, 2024

[Hide Comment] Height-dependent for sure. 12c points if you're under 5'8". Great route! Oct 18, 2024
