Description
Jiayou is Lam Thuy Vo’s 5.6, two pitch, generously bolted sport route. Jiayou is at the top of the left-trending stairs. P1 climbs very differently to the left versus right of the bolts. Similarly on P2, the upper slab left of the bolts is thin 5.7+ while to the right there is a 5.5 crack/seam. Jiayou (加油 or jiā yóu) translates to “you got this!” or “fuel up!” in Chinese) and is an homage to the Asian American community organizations that have sprung up during the 2020 pandemic.
