Description Suggest change

Stinging Surprises is a great route that is pretty highball and varies in style. It starts with powerful moves out of a roof then transitions into a vertical compression section with an airy topout.

Start on a jug under the roof, and climb out of the roof on mostly good holds, sticking to the right side of the roof is easiest. Climb straight up and transition into compressing between the arete and a good sidepull rail. The topout on good holds, but be careful as you're quite high off of a not so good landing.

Location Suggest change

This is on a boulder around the corner to the right of Goat Rock and is perched high up on the hill.

Protection Suggest change

At least 4 or 5 pads - the landing is downhill and pretty bad. You will definitely want some spotters as well.
