Start from NYC Parks Restroom and Annex with VCP GPS marker. Follow Cass Gallagher Nature Trail sign down paved road. The CGNT will continue on to the right with a blue, marked trailblazer. Instead, keep following the paved trail north and take the second right on an unmarked but paved trail. The unmarked dirt trail approach will appear on the left (roughly due south of the rock location). Take the dirt trail and the route will be visible from the trail.
