[Hide Comment] When the trail first touches the wall, the inobvious right trending crack off the ground begins Mega-Slam. It is how i prefer to climb thru 1st tier at a moderate grade on my way to Shadow Wall, Dig Dug, Sun, etc.
The first pitch is one of the better pitches off the ground, and the second and third pitches allow you to skirt around the left side of the steep and imposing Headwall. Atop the Headwall is where the only trail on a steep hillside begins, and walks you north to the 2nd Tier trail and beyond. Oct 9, 2021
