[Hide Comment] The crux was in the first 2-3 meters for me, between pro 1 and 2. Three or four pieces of pro total for me: #5 to start back in the crack (a #4 worked for me, too during an earlier run), then a #4, and a #1 before making the double Mussy anchor. It is possible to squeeze another piece of pro between the first two pieces. The rock in and around the crack is gneiss and smooth, but near the top, it’s less worn and some jagged points might enhance the grip experience. Jul 21, 2021
