Description Suggest change

Whisper to jesus  235’, 3p (M3, M4, M5+)

Physical mixed climbing up a prominent chimney system. Has a bit of a “mountain” feel even though it’s only 30 min from the road, and only 235’ tall.

P1-Climb the first pitch of the summer route Silver Flake. Continue on easier terrain, past where Silver Flake turns right, to a fixed anchor on the right wall just below a left angling crack (summer route Wasted Reprise)

P2-Start easily up the lower angle chimney to two steeper sections. Pass a chockstone (crux) and step left to a belay off a good small birch.

P3-Step back right into the steep chimney, working past an overhanging section with a handcrack (crux) to a stance. Continue up the wide crack to finally reach an easy section and the top.

Descent-Rappel with double ropes from a red pine to the fixed anchor at top of P1. Then rappel to ground

Location Suggest change

Locate the full length chimney of Sinner Repent. Walk left along the wall for several hundred yards. Just past a clean brown slab the cliff face goes uphill a bit into an alcove/depression.

Start on the right hand side of the depression (same start as summer route Silver Flake).

Left of the depression is a low roof band.

Protection Suggest change

Gear-well protected with stoppers, tri-cams, hexes (med/large), and single cams red C3 to #4 Camelot)
