A pair of golden eagles regularly nest on Bridge Creek Wall. When in effect, starting January 1, PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB or travel within 1/2 mile of Bridge Creek Wall. As a reference, the climb Condorphamine Addiction is just outside of this 1/2 mile buffer, and is OK to climb still. The closure extends through August 15, but there is active monitoring to determine if the seasonal closure can be lifted earlier.
In 2014, there was an active pair of peregrine falcons at Snow Creek Wall, but no official closure was put in effect due to the location of the falcons. The site will be continually monitored with changes or removal of closures updated as necessary.
Description
Start sitting under the arete with a sloper for the left and a sidepull/pinch for the right. Pull on, hit the sloping crimp on the arete, then use either a small crimp or a very small sidepull under the roof to dyno up to the juggy rail above. Top out straight up, or to add some more moves, out to the right.
Location
Lone boulder above the main cluster. Easy to spot, difficult to get to. I pruned out the "trail" a bit today (10/29/2020) but it is still a pain to get to.
To find the trail: Once you arrive at the main Pretty Boulders cluster, instead of walking left towards Pretty Girl, veer right toward a large burnt tree and a fallen log (pic). Walk up this log till it ends, then swim through the brush for about 15 feet till the trail opens up again and takes you to the boulder.
