Description Suggest change

This route was opened by A. Dibona and E. Stubler, the 8th August 1909.

Angelo Dibona was probably the first mountaineer to think about climbing the majestic north face of Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

His amazing climbing route goes along the edge of Cima Grande ("big peak") di Lavaredo and is overhanging on the sheer rock face. This means that Angelo wanted exactly to look down from the vertical sandstone wall.

The climbing route Spigolo Dibona is undoubtedly a must-do for every mountaineer, both because it is absolutely enjoyable and it's a way to remember and celebrate such a great, skilful climber as Angelo Dibona.
