Description Suggest change

A beautiful crack splitting a large chunk of the wall.  Starts with fingers, to an undercling traverse, and then a perfect hands corner to finish.  There's a good tree to sling at the end, or scramble up some duff to an improbable walkoff.

Sandstone Warning Suggest change

This route ascends a crack in very soft sandstone in an area of the forest that is often damp. Do not climb it if it's wet. Part of the reason for the name is that it's likely only climbable in the late summer.

Location Suggest change

Currently the only clean route on the wall.  See the Madrone Crest subsection for a map of how to get there (it's a major bushwhack).

Protection Suggest change

Gear to 2" with a glue-in bolt protected crux
