Description
Sit start with your left hand on a crimp and your right hand slightly above on a sloper. Your right foot should press against any small ruffle in the overhang, although there is no obvious foot hold. The rock has so much friction that it will feel much better than a real foot chip at somewhere like purple stones or stoney point.
The left foot should heel hook the south east face of the wall. Pull yourself up to a one inch ledge. Either match or get your right hand there and then grip a vertical 4 finger pocket a centimeter deep with your left hand. Heel hook the left hand starting crimp and do a foot switch. Traverse the wall without using the top until you get to the end of the left side and then mantle. The crux is the foot switch as you climb out of the overhang. (this is just a suggested beta). V1+ for people who are slab wall oriented. V0 for people who are core and foot work oriented.
Titled false zen steps due to the possibility for confusion in their description.
