Description Suggest change

The proudest single pitch at the Wombat's base, finishing with a blunt arete on dark red stone. The only detractors are a bit of sub-par rock before the crux and the long spans, which may stymy shorter climbers.

Get the blood flowing on Journey to the Center of the Earth. Leaving the first anchor, face a short boulder problem to jugs. Shake out before the business, a sustained hard section with poor crimps and sidepulls, intricate footwork and a difficult clip or two. This leads onto the airy arete and just as the climbing eases, a wicked pump settles in until you pull onto a great ledge.

Location Suggest change

Center of the Wombat's base wall, climbs the small arete on dark red rock up high

Protection Suggest change

16 bolts total including first anchor. Good to have an extended draw on the first bolt of the extension.
70 meter rope or lower to the first anchor with a 60m
