Description Suggest change

Short, but very sustained climb on a beautiful piece of overhanging granite in a pleasant forest setting.

Stand up on the ledge to clip the first bolt and then fire off a sequence of progressively harder, bouldery moves to the top.

The climb is given 12d in the 2017 North Tahoe guidebook, but a key foot broke at the beginning of the crux around the 3rd bolt and the upgrade to 13a seems fair. Very much a roped boulder problem, so your opinion on the grade may vary.

Location Suggest change

Obvious line up the center of the overhanging face that the leaning tree rests on.

Protection Suggest change

4 fixed draws, lower-off anchors.
